You’ve sorted it before.
But it still doesn’t work properly.

It looks better for a while. Then the same things start collecting, and before long, the space is difficult to use again.

The Clutter Reset Hour is a private 60-minute Zoom session for one space that isn’t working properly.

I review your photos and answers before we meet.
During the session, we look at what keeps happening, what else is affecting the space and how you need it to work. Together, we decide what needs to change first and create a practical solution that fits how you actually use it.

Why sorting it again isn’t always enough

Clearing the mess is not always the same as solving the problem

You have already put effort into sorting it. But if the same problem keeps coming back, there is usually more going on than the mess you can see.

It could be that:

  • Things are being left there while waiting for a decision or a next step.
  • One surface is being used for several different jobs.
  • The things you use regularly are harder to put away than leave out.
  • What happens elsewhere keeps adding to the problem.
  • The setup only works when you have enough time and energy to keep correcting it.

That is why I do not look only at the mess you can see. I ask what happens before things land there, what makes them difficult to deal with, and what you need the space to help you do.

What we do together

We start with what keeps going wrong.
Then we decide what needs to change.

We begin with the part of the space that is causing the most frustration. I ask you to show me how you use it, what keeps happening there, what you have already tried and what you need the space to help you do.

We start with what you can see
The desk you cannot work at. The counter that keeps filling up. The cupboard that is difficult to use. This gives us a clear place to begin.

We look at what else is happening
Sometimes the place where the mess collects is only where the problem shows. If something happening elsewhere is causing things to end up there, we look at that too.

We decide what needs attention first
We decide which part needs dealing with first, so everything in the room does not become one large, overwhelming job.

We work out a practical solution
Together, we work through the important decisions and decide what needs to move, what needs a clearer next step and what would make the space easier to use. Where it makes sense, you can begin testing part of the solution during the session.

We consider how it will work in real life
We look at whether the change will still be manageable when you are busy, tired or short on time – not only when the space has just been sorted.

You leave with the main decisions made, a practical way forward and clear first steps for putting the solution in place.

Before, during and after

How the Clutter Reset Hour works

1. Before we meet

After booking, you answer a few short questions and send me photos of the space. Please don’t tidy it first – the things that collect there help me understand what is happening.
I review everything before we meet so that we can make good use of the hour.

2. During the session

We meet for 60 minutes on Zoom. You can show me any details that were not clear in the photos, and together we work through the important decisions and practical changes.

3. After the session

I send you a written plan covering what we decided, what to deal with first and the next steps for putting the solution in place.

4. Two weeks later

I check in by email to see what you have managed to change and how it is working in everyday life. You can tell me what has helped and where you are still stuck, and I will suggest an adjustment if needed.

Let’s make the space easier to use
and keep on top of

Is this the right kind of help?

The Clutter Reset Hour is a good fit if…

✓ There is one main problem you want help with, even if other parts of the room are connected to it.
✓ You have tried sorting or reorganising it but cannot work out what needs to change.
✓ You want advice based on your actual space rather than more general decluttering or organising tips.
✓ You are willing to send photos beforehand and show me the space during a private Zoom session.
✓ You want a clear place to start and practical steps that you can put into place after the session.

We focus on one main problem and anything else that is making it harder to solve. This is not a full-room decluttering session or a service where I organise the space for you.

Ela, home organiser at Organise With EL

Who you’ll work with

You’ll work directly with me, Ela

I’m a home organiser and the person behind Organise With EL. When you book the Clutter Reset Hour, you work directly with me throughout.
I do not believe there is one correct way to organise a home.
Your space needs to work for your routines, your belongings and the way you live – not somebody else’s idea of how it should look.
I will give you honest, practical advice, but I will not judge your home or pressure you into decisions.
The decisions about your home and belongings are always yours.

Questions before you book

You do not need to make it look better or apologise for it. I need to see what is actually happening so I can help. I am there to solve the problem with you, not judge your home.

We will not declutter or reorganise an entire room in one hour. We focus on one main problem, make the main decisions and agree what needs to happen first. You then have a written plan to help you continue.

We start with the problem you want to solve. If belongings, routines or other parts of the room are causing it, we look at those too without turning the session into a full-room review.

Where it makes sense, yes. You can begin testing part of the solution while we talk – for example, by moving a few things or trying a different arrangement. Some spaces need decisions or preparation before anything can be moved. In that case, we decide what needs to happen first and the order to follow afterwards.

No. If the amount of belongings or the storage is part of the problem, I will tell you honestly, but the decisions remain yours. We look at what you already have before deciding whether anything else is needed.

No. Your photos and personal details remain private. I will only share anything from your session if you give me clear permission.
